Alt-Write pt 1
I typed "s" into firefox just now, and it auto-filled "shooting in Minneapolis". It's hard to tell which shooting generated this development; but as the New York Times (and everyone else) reports, a 37-year-old registered nurse by the name of Alex Pretti was murdered by ICE today.
The circumstances of the shooting aren't what I plan on writing about. I stepped into the online world of the far-right to see how another slice of America was experiencing what felt like a crisis of morality for the folks in my circle. This is the first of a series of immersions I'm going to take into the bizarro world of the alt-right.
It seems like the day started with the usual bravado:
