Alt-Write pt 2 - opsec

Today was a good reminder of why activists need to practice counter-intelligence. While the efficiency of these actions remains to be seen, alt-right nutjobs were infiltrating mutual defense & community networks in the past 24 hours, accusing them of being "aNtIfA" rooms. Just remember, if you don't know who's in your encrypted communications, it doesn't matter if it's encrypted. Activists need to employ a "security onion" sort of approach and vet contacts - meet in person, ideally.

There were also a lot of posts attempting to discredit murdered American citizens or mischaracterize storm preparations as responses to "rIoTs", or that everything was "fAkE".

These channels get thousands of views a day. As weird as it may seem, this is somebody's America.
